consisting of all regulation updates, recognising and treating signs and symptoms, applying defibrillator supported CPR, applying COVID 19 precautions to emergency situations and managing emergencies in the dental practice setting.



Course Format:

Each module has one or two video lessons and an assessment to take in the form of a multiple choice quiz.

You will watch each module's video lesson (Links supplied below), then when you are ready, take the module's assessment quiz. Once you have achieved full marks on that module's assessment you can then continue onto the next module. The amount of times you can watch the video lessons is unlimited. When you successfully complete all five modules you have completed the course.


We will be in touch automatically with your certificate after you have completed the course.


Aim of the course:


To update the dental care professional's existing knowledge of responding to medical emergencies in an online format until they can complete a class based/practical course


Course Outcomes:

As a result of completing this course the learner will:

Be reminded of all regulation and guidance relative to managing medical emergencies in the dental practice.

Have sufficient knowledge to carry out defibrillation assisted cardio pulmonary resuscitation.

Be reminded of legislation and guidance specific to the dental practice medical emergency management,

Update their existing knowledge of emergency medicine and equipment required and used

by the dental practice.

Update their existing knowledge of signs and symptoms of each type of medical emergencies.

BOOKING CANCELLATIONS:

We understand that unplanned issues may arise, and you may need to amend or even cancel a booking.

We respectfully ask that you give ask as much notice as possible in order to minimise disruption to our

training schedule.


Please note:

a) Bookings cancelled within two weeks of a training date will incur a 50% fee.

b) Bookings cancelled within one week of a training date will incur the full training fee.

c) If your booking is moved to a new date, we will require a 50% non-refundable fee at the time of booking,

with the balance to be paid by the training date.
